Born Oct. 16, 1915, in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Guy and Elsie Mae Waggoner Albert and the widow of Richard Henry Zeigler.
She was a 1933 graduate of Carlisle High School. She was a lifetime member of Grace United Methodist Church, Carlisle, where she helped with the children's choir and the Sunday school program. She also was a member of the Mary Dickinson Club, Dickinson College. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Surviving are two sons, Roy Allen Zeigler and his wife, Carol, of Carlisle and Dale Edward Zeigler and his wife, Ellen, of Atlanta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Zeigler, Carlisle, and Ryan Zeigler, Atlanta. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William and George Albert.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 10, in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Westminster Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, in the funeral home.
