Phillip M. Bierdeman, 79
CANFIELD-There will be a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 4, at the Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel, for Phillip M. Bierdeman, 79, of Lisbon Road, who passed away at 9:57 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Phillip was born Dec. 18, 1927 in Youngstown, the son of the late Edgar W. and Lydia M. (Code) Bierdeman. He was currently the owner of Tri State Plumbing. He was a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite. Phillip is survived by three children, Louise Bierdeman of Akron, Philip (Terri) Bierdeman of Columbus and Ralph (Melba) Bierdeman of Westerville; a sister, Margie Chill of Boardman; two brothers, Fred Bierdeman of Youngstown and Arthur Bierdeman of Boardman; three grandchildren, Shad (Rachel) Bierdeman, Stephanie (Collins) McGeorge, and Sean Bierdeman; and five great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by his sisters, May Ricker and Jean Archer, and his brothers Charles, Jack and Ed Bierdeman. Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1815 W. Market St., Suite 108, Akron, OH 44313.
