John also, referred to his father as Thomas BRYANT Cantrell Jr. His father died in Covert MO and was buried in "Cantrell" cemetery in Covert MO. This story was written by Georgia Elsa Myers, a niece of John Willie. The "Cantrell" cemetery is in Lynch Twp, Texas Co MO which is to the south of Covert. Cemetery record shows a grave marked "Tom Cantrell" but no birth or death date was given. Note, both of Tom's, father & son, are buried in this cemetery. There does not appear to be conclusive proof of the true middle name. This writer will continue to report the name as BRYANT until proof to the contrary is discovered.
