Jack, 80, died at his home surrounded by loved ones. Jack was born to Clarence and Edna McDonald. He married Biviana Laing on June 25, 2014 in Brighton. Jack had a very distinguished career working for the Bureau of Reclamation, and as an independent mainframe computer programmer for Martin Marrieta, IBM, Ideal Concrete and Montgomery Ward. An outdoorsman, Jack loved horses and the mountains. He always said, "I like old people, babies and animals". His favorite quote, always with a smile on his face, "I am half honest". Survivors beside Biviana included: sons Jeffery McDonald and John McDonald; daughter Sue Emerson; and grandchildren Stephanie, Cody, Kay, Sean, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Marie, Taylor, Alexis, Wyatt, and Hendrix. Preceding were both parents, brother William, son Michael McDonald, and his first wife. Graveside services held July 10. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled arrangements.
