Born in Six Mile, a daughter of the late Perry and Belle Nelson Kay, Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William Harold Brown; a son; two brothers; a sister; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was predeceased by a son, Andrew Brown and a sister, Frances Evatt.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Bobby Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Secona Baptist Church Cemetery in Pickens.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Family members are at their respective homes.
