FINAL SERVICES TODAY FOR MRS. A. P. CALHOUN

Great- Granddaughter of Noted Statesman Had Lived Here for 19 Years.

Funeral service for Mrs. Andrew Pickens Calhoun, great-granddaughter of John C. Calhoun, noted southern statesman, will be held at 11 o’clock ' this morning at the Peachtree chapel of Brandon-Bond-Condon, with the : Revs. Russell K. Smith and W. W. Momminer officiating. Cremation will follow.
Mrs. Calhoun was born in New York city, the daughter of Gideon Lee. a noted Texas Ranger, and Floride Clemson Lee, the granddaughter of Thomas G. Clemson, founder of Clemson College. Her grandfather, Gideon' Lee, was at one time mayor of New York city, then governor of the state and later United States senator from New York.
Mrs. Calhoun was the author of the words of "The Hills of Home." which was set to music by her friend, Oscar J. Fox. It is considered one of the semi-classic folk songs.
Mrs. Calhoun had been a resident of Atlanta since 1916 and on a previous occasion, soon after her marriage, she had been a resident here. In the interim she had lived in St. Louis and San Antonio.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Miss Margaret M. Calhoun : two sons, Patrick Calhoun and C. Lee Calhoun ; a brother, John Lorton Lee, of Carmel, N. Y., and a grandson, Creighten Lee, Calhoun Jr.

Mrs, Calhoun died TUESDAY night at her home, 482 Moreland avenue, N. E.

Isabella was buried in Raymond Hill Cemetery, in Carmel, Putnam County, New York. A monument tombstone which reads:
