Office of the dead and recitation of the rosary for Sadie S. Hanauska, who died in a hospital Wednesday, will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Vault entombment will be in Gethsemani Mausoleum at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Mrs. Hanauska was born April 8, 1901, in Silverton. She lived in Woodburn from 1907 to 1923, when she moved to Portland. She and her husband, Frank A., had been married 51 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jerry F. of Portland; daughters, Ruth M. Bingold and Helen Feltz, both of Milwaukie, and Carol Fieger of Littleton, Colo.; sisters, Margaret Abraham of Lebanon, Myrtle Waymire of Hubbard and Grace Hobson of Fresno; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, care of Sacred Heart Church.
