Reid I. Milburn 1915-2004 Reid I. Milburn, 89, of Moncton passed away on Friday, December 24, 2004 at the
Moncton City Hospital. Reid was born in Albert on December 4, 1915 the son of the late Archibald and Alberta
(Gaugh) Milburn. He worked for General Motors until his retirement in 1974. He also served overseas in World
War II for the First Canadian Army Tank Brigade. Reid was a Life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Brach
# 32, Hillsborough, also a Life member of the Howard Lodge # 15 F&AM. He was an avid dart player and loved
playing crib. He enjoyed nature and was a true outdoorsman. Reid was also hard to catch when he had his skates
on. He was a very special man who will never be forgotten.
He will be deeply missed by his two sons, Beverley Milburn of Calgary and Terry Milburn (Carol) of Hillsborough;
his three grandchildren, Joshua, Erika and Kerri; three great grandchildren Brooke, Trenton and Maddison. He
will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife Gertrude; eight brothers Roy, Claude, Avard, Peter,
Donald, Lloyd, Murray, Walter and by a sister Mary. Honoring Reid's own request there will be no visitation or
funeral service. If desired donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
