SOUTH YARMOUTH - Stephen Douglas Jefferson of South Yarmouth, MA., formerly of Everett, MA., went home to be with Jesus, on Saturday, July 4, 2015.
He is the beloved husband of Tammie A. Jefferson. Stephen was a faithful man of God loved by all who knew him. Predeceased by his son Rodeiro Jefferson and his parents William and Gladys Jefferson. He is survived by his two sons Kendall and Enrique, three daughters Elizabeth, Margarita and Angela, and 13 grandchildren.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War era. The wake will be Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Morris, O'Connor& Blute Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Dr., in South Yarmouth, from 4 to 7 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held at Victory Chapel, 320 Kidd's Hill Road, Hyannis, MA., on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at 1:30 p.m., with food and refreshments to follow, all are welcome to celebrate his life.
A private burial with Military Honors will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
