Dennis Henry Passes Away at His Home in Preston at Age of 52

Dennis Henry, aged 52, one of the best known residents of Preston, Hanover Township, died at 12:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon in Mercy Hospital, after four days' illness of complications. Deceased has resided in and about Preston all his life and had served as foreman for the Central Railroad for twenty-five years. At the time of his death he was assistant general foreman at Ashley shops. Mr. Henry was actively engaged in politics in Hanover Township and was elected a township commissioner at the last election. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and of Alhambra Caravan, No. 4.
He is survived by his wife, who before marriage was Miss Mary Gaughan, and son, Harold, also a brother, Thalen Henry, and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Hydocker and Miss Bea. He was a devout member of St. Charles Church at Sugar Notch where the funeral services will be held. The funeral will be held form his home, 21 Rutz street, at a date to be announced later. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Hanover.
