Danny Lee Stafford, 55, of Wyco, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in a Beckley hospital following a long illness.

Born February 8, 1957 in Mullens, he was the son of the late Stella Marie Sadler Stafford and James Ira Stafford, Jr. of Man.

Mr. Stafford was a former coal miner. He attended the Rhodell Church of God and was well loved by his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Ira and Zenith Stafford and Leonard and Laura Sadler.

Those left to cherish his memory include his father, James Ira Stafford, Jr. and his wife, Margeret, of Man; four brothers, Michael and Patricia Stafford of Wyco with whom he made his home, Jim and Lynn Stafford of Sharon, WI, Lenny Stafford and Sherry of Pennsylvania, and Joe and Tina Stafford of Man; three sisters, Tina Heatherman and her husband, Charles, of Cyclone, Sharon Lester and her husband, Frank, of Man, and Evelyn Stafford of South Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Rhodell Church of God with Rev. Gary Eskins officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the church.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
