Mrs. Nellie Cork, age 75 of Belk, died Thursday, July 9, 2015 at DCH Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Bro. Alvie Nelson, Jr., Bro. Marshall Sutton and Bro. Kenneth Stough officiating. Burial will follow in the Wesley Chapel cemetery. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2 p.m.
Nellie was the daughter of Palmer Lee Foster and Ruby Nell Wiggins Foster. She attended Belk School and later graduated from Kennedy High School with her class in 1958. She married James C. Cork. They had two children.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters; Betty Lee Foster Smith and Virginia Foster Wooten; grandparents, Garfield Foster and Willie B. Rushing Foster, Henry T. Wiggins and Nancy Neal Wiggins and a niece, Ramona
