EAST GARY - Services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday at Brady Funeral Home for John D. Allen, of 619 Central Avenue, who died Sunday at Gary Mercy Hospital. Burial will be in Blake Cemetery.
An Air Force veteran and construction worker, Allen was a member of the American Legion Post 454, New chicago.
Surviving are his widow, Lillian; a daughter, Mrs. Diane Mullens, Portage; four sons, David, Thomas, Robert, all at home, and Richard, stationed in North Carolina with the US Marine Corps; a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Grimes, Madison; and two grandchildren.
