Along with his family, Christian attended New Hope Baptist Church in Caraway. His passions were driving and listening to music, playing video games and bowling. Christian recently graduated high school, where his bowling team finished second in the state. Like most kids, Christian enjoyed watching wrestling or movies, playing cards or board games and simply hanging out with his friends and family. Above all things, Christian James was a fighter from the time he was born into this world until the time he went back home. In spite of his lifelong problems with his heart, Christian displayed a courage and love for life during his short existence that was matched by few and contagious and inspirational to everyone around him. His ability to overcome obstacles was encouraging and motivational to all of those that were blessed to be touched by his spirit. He leaves a legacy of hope, belief and love that will have an influence and positive effect on those who loved him for the rest of their lives.
Christian was survived by his mother and father, Lori and Jeremy Faulkner of the home; his father, John Bruce of Jonesboro; siblings, Ashley Calvert, Haydn Faulkner, Jackson Faulkner and Gus Faulkner, all of the home; grandfather, Truman Reams of Milligan Ridge; grandmother, Peggy Fletcher of Greers Ferry; his life-love Elizabeth "Lizzy" Dowdy; and more family and friends than one could ever hope to list.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grand-parents, James A. and Maxine Bruce.
Funeral services were at the First Baptist Church in Caraway under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila.
