Norman D. Richardson, 84, of Carroll Road, Blissfield, died Jan. 12, 1985 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Sylvania.

He was born March 9, 1900 in Kent County to DeWitt and Effie (MacNaughton) Richardson. He married Agnes Sorenson, and she died in 1941. He later married Lois Corbett and she died in 1958.

Mr. Richardson was a farm in the Blissfield area most of his life. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Blissfield and a former member of the Blissfield Kiwanis.

Survivors include a son, Norman Dale Richardson of Pleasant Grove, Ala.; a daughter, Lorna Ganun of Blissfield; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Nelson of Grand Rapids; and one sister, Charlotte Hall of Grand Rapids.

He was preceded in death by a brother William, and a sister, Ethel Richards.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Tagsold Funeral Home in Blissfield with the Rev. Ralph Pieper officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Blissfield. Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.m. today.
