Son of Absolum Rager and Jane Cunningham. Husband of Lydia D. Morton.

Obituary:
Lobar pneumonia was the cause of the demise at 2:30 a.m. yesterday of Harry N. Rager, at his home on Keeling Avenue, Elmadale, Derry. He had been ill since July 24th. At the time of his death he was aged 73 years, 2 months and 28 days. He was born in Indiana County, May 15, 1860, a son of Absalom and Jane Cunningham Rager. He has resided in Derry for over forty years. He served as constable some years ago. He had been employed at the Derry works of the Westinghouse Company, until three years ago, when he retired. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Lyda Morton Rager, the three daughters, Mrs. Craig W. Penrose, of McKees Rocks; Mrs. B.F. Woods, of Derry and Mrs. W.M. Ankney, of Latrobe; and four sons, W. Owen, of Blairsville; Robert M., of Cleveland, Ohio; H. Lisle, of Derry Township; and Carl, at home. Twenty-eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held from his late residence, on Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. F.J. Aparling, in charge. Interment will follow in Derry Cemetery.
