BOURQUE (Meuse), A. Isabelle - 96 years, of Truro, passed away in her sleep, September 24, 2007, in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born July 17, 1911, in Amirault's Hill, Yarmouth Co., she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Emilie Meuse. For most of her adult life, Isabelle was a homemaker. She was a talented musician who played the piano and a variety of other instruments. In her teen and early adult years, Isabelle was a church organist in her hometown. Isabelle liked to travel and saw a great deal of North America and Western Europe with her husband, George. She is survived by son, Lubin George (Carol) Bourque of Truro; grandchildren, Blair Lubin (Karen) Bourque of Halifax; Carla Denise (Jamie) Lavigne of Saint John, N.B. and great-grandson, Owen Lavigne; sisters, Juliette Doucet of Dartmouth; Adelta Moulaison of Yarmouth County; Olivette Sudsbury of Cape Breton; Emmeline Frotten of Yarmouth; and brother, Eugene Meuse Jr. of Yarmouth. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, George Elisee Bourque; sisters, Celena Surette, Angeline Amirault; brothers, Benedict "Benny" Meuse and Daniel Meuse. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, in Mattatall Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Truro, Father Ronald Cairns will officiate with a reception to follow in Campbell Hall. Burial will follow in Robie Street Cemetery, Truro. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Colchester Regional Hospital Foundation, "To Our Health Campaign".
