Strozier, 77, was a long-time resident of Chatham, where he farmed until two years ago. At that time ill health forced him to retire and he moved to Shreveport and resided with his daughter, Mrs. Z. A. Graves, 1731 Michel street.
He was a member of the Concord Methodist Church near Chatham.
He is survived by his wife; eight sons, Sam Strozier, Ruston, J. W. of Hodge, Mike, Los Angeles, California, A. L. of St. John, Newfoundland, C. E., Edna, Texas, James R., Memphis, and Hardy and Henry Strozier, both of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Taylor, Chatham, and Mrs. Graves, Shreveport; two brothers, Hardy, Lake Providence, and Luther Strozier of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Wilhite, Monroe, Mrs. Mae Price, Columbia, and Mrs. Liz[z]ie Henry, Ruston.
Also surviving are 26 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
