CHARLESTON -- Janet Ruby (Craig) McConaghy, 54, of Charleston, passed away Monday, (Aug. 18, 1997) at her residence.
The funeral will be held Wednesday (Aug. 20, 1997) at 2 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Dale Beck officiating. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Mattoon. Visitation will be held this evening (Aug. 19) from 5-8 p.m. at the chapel.
Janet (Craig) McConaghy was born June 30, 1943, in South Bend, Indiana., the daughter of Paul and Florence (Harlen) Craig. Surviving are: her mother, Florence Craig or Charleston; son, Bill McConaghy of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Ruth Ann) Craig of Charleston; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Sue) Craig of Jackson, Tennessee.; sister, Barbara Platt of Marquette, Michigan., sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Phil (Virginia) Burger of Vestal, NY. Her father preceded her in death.
Janet was a secretary in the records office at E.I.U.
