Born in Brandsville, Mo., the son of the late John and Cora Ellison Ball and was raised in the Hornersville, Mo., area.
He had been a Paragould resident since 1973 and was retired from Monroe Automotive. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed deer hunting and collecting guns.
He leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Karen, of the home; two daughters, Andrea Holman of Jonesboro and Kandice Ball of Paragould; one brother, Joe Ball of Arbyrd, Mo.; three sisters, Pauline Rickman of Jonesboro, Maxine Melvin of Arbyrd, Mo., and Betty Preston of Arbyrd; he also leaves four grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service were in Cardwell Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville.
