He served in WWII in the 70th Inf. Div. and received 2 purple hearts.

He married Doris Freudenwald May 29, 1948

He worked as a Tool & Die maker, a Tool Room Foreman, and Vice President of Manufacturing at Eckmann Pressed Metals. He retired after 36 years of service.

He was survived by his wife, 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren and one sister. He was predeceased by his brother Jerome Braun.

He is buried in West Lawn Memorial Park, Racine,Wisconsin.
