Mrs. Apple is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Ann Leonard of Camp Hill, Pa. and Mrs. Audrey J. Randall of Salem, Mass.; sister-in-law, Mrs. Peggy Yakubowskas of Peabody, Mass.; sons, Leonard and Nancy Apple of Murfreesboro, and Michael and Pat Apple of Reidsville with whom she made her home; daughters, Sam and Diane Hewitt of Columbus, Ga., Barry and Robin Jones of Hamilton, Ga. and Mike and Michelle Black of Knoxville, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jack Donald Apple, Jr.
