Bohrer, Charles Lynn, 84, of Proctor, WV, died Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, WV.

He was born September 3, 1922 in Proctor, the son of the late Sep and May Oblinger Bohrer.

He was a retired ironworker and chemical worker from Mobay, a member of American Legion Post 28, New Martinsville, the VFW Post 6326, Sistersville, Moose Lodge #931 New Martinsville, Eagles Club 109, Paden City, WV, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, and a Protestant by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dotson Bohrer, a sister, Myra Ford, and a brother, Reid Bohrer.

Survivors include two sons, Tim (Ronda) Bohrer of Proctor, and David (Lisa) Bohrer of Winston-Salem, NC; a brother, Bryce Bohrer, also of Proctor, six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, where funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00am.

Interment to follow in Northview Cemetery, New Martinsville, WV, where the Sistersville VFW combined honor guard will conduct military graveside services.
