nyshistoricnewspapers.org SULLIVAN COUNTY RECORD Sept 18 1941 page 5: "Lillian Weissenfluh, 61, and wife of Albert C Luchs died at her home in Plainfield, NJ Thursday Sept 11 following an illness of streptococus.
Body taken to Scranton for interment in the Luchs plot in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Born in Scranton December 26 1879 daughter of the late Andrew Weissenfluh a former resident of Youngsville and who before his death was a retired locomotive engineer of the Lackawanna RR.
Thirty two years ago she married at Nicholson, Pa to Mr Luchs native of Jeffersonville and they lived in New York City until 8 years go when they moved to Plainfield and built a 7 room house.
She leaves her husband, a daughter Miss Jean, 25, who goes to business; a brother Charles a retired locomotive engineer of East Stroudsburg; Two sisters Miss Anna Weissenfluh of Scranton and Ella wife of William Poz of Emerson, NJ.
Another sister Mrs Gertrude Softly of Scranton died last May."
