Vivian G. Starkey, 81, a resident of North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc, formerly of 165 Turner St., Two Rivers, died Friday, March 31, 1989, at North Ridge.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Klein and Stangel, Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Rev. James Freely will officiate and burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Starkey was born May 4, 1907, at Butte des Morts, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Oura and Lavina Johnson Benedict. She married Louie W. Nitzschke in 1925. He preceded her in death in 1940. She then married Ren C. Starkey and he preceded her in death in 1941. (error: Ren died 1975)
Survivors include a son, Louie W. Nitzschke of Two Rivers; a daughter (private); two brothers and a sister-in-law, Raymond and Ruth Benedict of Butte des Morts and Warren Benedict of California; a sister, Lavina Schneider of Oshkosh; a brother-in-law, Jacob Nitzschke of Kingsford, Michigan; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, 12 noon to the time of services on Tuesday.
