SCHULZ, Ernest F. -- Age 78, died Wednesday, March 8, 1978, at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday at Reigle Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, Rev. John Z. Andree officiation. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Mr. Schulz was born in Winneconne, Wisc., March 26, 1899, and had been a Flint area resident the last 50 years. He was a member of Local 659 and had been employed by Chevrolet Mfg for 36 years, retiring in 1964. Surviving are: son, Oliver "Dutch" Schulz of Swartz Creek; daughter, Mrs. Dave (Beatrice) Davis of St. Paul, Minn.; 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Miss Hilda Schulz of Flint, Mrs. Bertha Mahron, Mrs. Eda Pinnow, both of Wisconsin and Mrs. Robert (Linda) Steinert of Washington; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Schulz was preceded in death by 2 sons, Frank and Arthur, and a brother, Adolph.
