Greensburg- Harold Donald Horner, 93, died July 13, 2015 in Pratt regional Medical Center, Pratt, Kansas. He was born in Haviland, Kansas the son of William Maurice and Lillie Dora (Goodman) Horner. Harold graduated from Haviland High School in 1940, and was owner/operator of Horner Recycling. He had lived in Haviland and Greensburg. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle, Greensburg. On December 26, 1942 Harold married Myrtilla Colclazier in Wichita, Kansas. She preceded him in death July 10, 2012. He is survived by two sons, four daughters, 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and one Great-great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by two daughters Ann Callis and Kay Davis, one Granddaughter, one Great-granddaughter, and three sisters Thelma Rinehart, Dorothy Graham and Winnie Brown.
Graveside services and celebration of Harold’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 in Fairview Cemetery, Greensburg. Visitation will be held Thursday 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Fleener Funeral Home, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers gifts are suggested to the Harold Horner Final Expense Fund in care of Fleener Funeral Home, 514 S. Main St., Greensburg, Kansas, 67054.
