Qasim Rehman was found dead in a field off Stocks Lane, in Clayton Heights, on May 10th 2008. An inquest in Bradford was told how a post-mortem examination and tests revealed “relatively large amounts of cocaine use” prior to his death.
Recording a verdict of death by abuse of drugs, Coroner Roger Whittaker said the medical cause of Mr Rehman’s death had been cocaine poisoning.
The inquest heard how Mr Rehman had become paranoid after taking the drug, and had jumped more than 20ft out of a window from his flat in Westwood Hall, Peregrine Way, Bradford, on two occasions, including on the day of his death.
