Borgeson, Jon T. SAN DIEGO -- Borgeson, Jon T., age 57, died June 28th 2015. He is survived by his husband, Jeff Cooley, sister Beth Smith, brother Mark Borgeson, sister- in-law Mary Borgeson, four nephews, one niece and two grandnephews and two grandnieces. Mr. Borgeson was born in Santa Monica and raised in the City of Orange. Over the years he served as District Governor of the American Advertising Federation, President of San Diego Ad Club, Board Chair of Greater San Diego Business Association and a member of the Board of Directors of Metropolitan Community Church of San Diego. Jon and Jeff had a Holy Union in 1981 and were legally married in Canada in 2003, a marriage now legally recognized here. A memorial service to celebrate Jon's life will be held at the Metropolitan Community Church of San Diego on Sunday July 12th at 1:00 p.m. at 2633 Denver St. ,San Diego, CA 92110 -
