Ann R. Browder, 96, a homemaker and rancher, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006, in Stephenville. Mrs. Browder was born April 21, 1910, in Thurber to Joseph and Mary Vlah Tiblets. She was a graduate of Mingus High School. She married Edward Gallaway Browder on May 11, 1935, in Ranger. Ed preceded her in death Dec. 19, 1991. Mrs. Browder had been a member of the Order of The Eastern Star Chapter #788 of Gordon for over 60 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Gordon. Ann enjoyed taking care of her cattle.

Survivors: Sister-in-law, Willie Tiblets of Mingus; nephews, Joe and Michael Bertino, James, Billy, Charles, Larry Tiblets and Eugene Browder; nieces, Mary Carpenter, Hazel Stringer and Sue Wynn; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and many friends.
