September 18, 1953 (Rochester Chronicle)- Mrs. Blanche Lefevre Van Schaick, wife of George S. Van Schaick, a former Rochester attorney died September 17, 1953 at her home in Bronxville. She was a native of Cobleskill, left Rochester with her husband in 1936 to live in NYC. She was a graduate of Vassar College (class of 1905) and formerly was active here in the Women's City Club and founder and former president of the League of Women Voters. Besides her husband, she leaves 2 daughters Frances and Sally/Sarah.
