She is survived by son, Rob Brandenburg and his wife, Doris of Tuttle, OK, daughter, Debby McClung and her husband, Earl of Tulsa, granddaughters Diana Fogarty and husband, Harry of Tuttle, OK, Monica Brandenburg of Maysville, OK, Nicole Wright and husband Andy of Broken Arrow and grandson, Christopher McClung of Tulsa. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, Chisholm, Cheyenne, Emilee, Trevor, Dillon, Caitlin, Allyssa, Amanda, Jenny, Allyssa, Austin and Nate, 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
After graduating from Copan High School, began working at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company until she started working for H. C. Price Company in Bartlesville as their Receptionist/Switchboard Operator for 19 years until Brandy was transferred to Tulsa. She worked for Albert Equipment Company in Tulsa as their receptionist for 19 years until she retired in 1988.
During their 53 year marriage Freda and Brandy enjoyed family vacations across the country to visit family and after retirement, many bus trips with friends and attending Dale’s bomber group reunions every year. Freda always enjoyed keeping busy and loved to visit with family, friends and neighbors
. She also loved sewing and doing crafts and went to craft shows in Arkansas almost 35 years until the age of 88.
Viewing/Visitation will be Saturday, July 18th 9:00 to 10:30am and graveside services will be held at 10:30 with a gathering for family and friends in the Floral Haven Family Center directly after the service.
