Johan Alfred (Euin) Magnusson was born in Barnkeyrd Parish, Jonkoping, Sweden. He married Mary Jane Hargrove, d/o James Thomas (Tommy) Hargrove and Martha Catchum, on 15 Jan 1880 in Giles County, TN. He died in Ardmore, Limestone County.

They had two children Edward Jackson and Lee Roy Magnusson. In September 1997, Euin and Mary Jane had a total of 163 descendants.

Obituary:
26 Jan 1933 - J. A. Magnusson, 75, died in the Ardmore area and was buried in the Elliott Cemetery, survived by the widow, to whom he was married for 53 years, and two sons, Roy and Ed.
