David Abraham
David Abraham of 2110 Delaware avenue, one of the well known and highly esteemed young men of the city, died Monday night at 11 o'clock after an illness due to typhoid fever. Despite the utmost care of physicians he grew worse rapidly after he was taken ill, and passed away last evening.
The deceased was 26 years of age, and was born in Swansea, Wales. He served his time as clothier with Daniel Jones in Swansea, and then went to London, where he was for three years with the Peter Roberts Clothing company. He came to New Castle about nine years ago, and recently, had been made manager of the U. S. Woolen Mills here. During his residence in this city, he had won the respect and esteem of a wide circle of friends, to whom his unexpected death brings deep sorrow. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal church, and was a young man of highest principles.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Rose A. Abraham, and one child, Robert Charles, aged 3 years. He leaves also his, mother, and four brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Harry Euwer of Lincoln avenue is a sister.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the residence in Delaware avenue, and interment will be made in Oak Park cemetery.
