She was born December 28, 1941, in Iowa City, Iowa, and moved to Olympia in 1943. She moved to Seattle and returned to Olympia in 1959. She was a volunteer teacher's aide at Roosevelt School and St. Michael's Catholic School. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Survivors include one son, Richard, Olympia; two brothers, Robert Henry, Lynnwood, and David Henry, Olympia; two sisters, Janet Flinner and Beverly Greenland, both of Olympia.
A rosary was said for Mrs. Allen at 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 18, in Mills & Mills Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial began at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 19, in St. Michael's Catholic Church. The Rev. Jim Jorgenson was celebrant. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
