Frances G. Ontiveros, 92, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Center, Dodge City.

She was born March 9, 1923 at Dodge City, the daughter of Domingo Congo Gonzalez and Angela Espinoza. A lifetime Dodge City resident, she worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Anthony Hospital and later was the head housekeeper at the Silver Spur Motel and Eckles Department Store all in Dodge City.

She was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City. She was very athletic and played softball for the Kline Clippers and was a member of the Isaac Truck Line Bowling team as well as an avid bingo player.

Survivors include: 3 children, Jerry Ontiveros and wife Joan, Sacramento, California, Leo Ontiveros, Dodge City and Rita Ontiveros, Protection; 4 brothers, Albert Gonzalez, Dodge City, Julian Gonzalez, Wichita, Pete Gonzalez, Dodge City and Leonard Gonzalez, Larned; a sister, Mickey Perez, Larned; her grandson, Sabin Esquibel, Dodge City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Rudy Esquibel and Alex Ontiveros, 2 brothers, Frank and Manuel Gonzalez and a sister, Esther Ontiberos.
