$10,000 Estate Left by Portland Woman
Mary H. Couch of Portland, who died March 8 in Paris, France, left an estate valued at “probably in excess of $10,000,” it was revealed Wednesday when her will was admitted to probate by Circuit Judge James W. Crawford. Robert H. Strong was named executor.
Clementine Hall of Portland was bequeathed $2500. Equal shares of the residue were will to Mary C. Burns of Portland, a niece; M. Louise Linthicum of Portland, a niece; Virginia Wilson of Portland, a niece; Caroline Wilson Beebe of Portland, a grandniece, and Evelyn Sherwood, New York city, grandniece.

Mary had moved to Paris by the early 1920s. She died during the Nazi occupation of Paris.
