LA PLATA, Mo.—Mary Celeste Hall, 88, of La Plata, died at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday (Feb. 21, 1984) in Grim-Smith Hospital in Kirksville.
Mrs. Hall was born Oct. 15, 1895, in Edina, a daughter of William and Ellen Nolan Lorey. She married Floren David Hall, April 29, 1918, in Kansas City. He died Aug. 5, 1962.
Mrs. Hall was a member of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Kirksville. She lived in Kirksville until moving to La Plata 50 years ago.
Surviving are a brother, James C. Lorey of Edina, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, John S., Gerald and William, and two brothers.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, the Rev. Tom Dolan conducting. Burial was in Highland (sic) Park (sic) Cemetery at Kirksville.
Arrangements are being handled by Hudson-Rimer Park View Chapel at Kirksville.
