I have a suspicion that the G.A.R. symbol and flag were erroneously placed on John Heinrich Orner's grave. There is another John Orner buried in Fairview Cemetery who was a veteran, but I have found no evidence that this John Orner ever served in the military. My search was not exhaustive, so it is possible that I am wrong. ---D. Brandt
