Betty Rae Sellers Absher, 64, of Harrisburg passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at her home.
She was born April 24, 1951 in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of the late Algier "Jim" and Vera Hammond Sellers.
Betty had worked at East Coast Metal Distributors, Charlotte in sales for many years. She loved traveling, camping and antiques.
Family and friends will gather for a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 3 to 5 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Lee Popwell and a brother, Donald Edward Sellers.
She is survived by her husband, step-son and his wife, two grandchildren, two sisters and their spouses, two brothers, and one sister-in-law.
