Jonesville, SC - George Leslie Warr died in Wallace Thomson Hospital on Monday, April 1, 1968 at 1 a.m. following a lenghty illness. Husband of Frances Amy Parnell Warr and son of Thomas and Isabelle Turner Warr. Oldest businessman in Jonesville, SC and owner and operator of People's Furniture and Undertaking Company. Member of Jonesville Methodist Church and served two terms as mayor of Jonesville, SC. Survivors included: a daughter; three grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
