SERVICES HELD HERE TODAY FOR FRANK ATKINS, JR.
Simple but impressive funeral services were held for little Frank Atkins, Jr., only child of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Atkins, of Los Angeles, from the First Christian church at 3:30 o’clock this afternoon. The lad was the grandson of W. B. Phillips of Riverside. Rev. George H. Bassett officiated at the services.
Frank, Jr., died as a result of injuries sustained when he was struck by a street car on Saturday. The boy was three and a half years old, his death having proven a shock not only to his parents but to many others who knew the boy. Mr. and Mrs. Atkins formerly resided in this city. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery.
