WILLIAM H. REDDICK.
William H. Reddick, died, at the residence of David A. Swank, his son-in-law, three miles south of Blue Mound, April 15th, 1900, ages 69 years 5 months and 7 days. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1930. His parents moved to the state of Indiana when William H. was about 12 years old; when 28 years of age he married Nancy E. Hall, who removed with him from Indiana to Kansas in the year 1878, and settled on the farm south-west of Blue Mound, where she died some 10 years since. William H. Reddick was a good citizen, a kind neighbor, a loving husband and father, whose loss will be greatly felt by all who knew him. He leaves two daughters and three sons, and many friends to mourn his departure. Funeral services conducted at the home by Rev. S. P. Cullison April 16th, 1900, after which the remains were interred in the old Blue Mound cemetery south of town. "Requiescit in pace."
