Mrs. Norah Haley, 69 years old, died at 5:45 o'clock this morning at St. John's hospital after an illness of several months.

She was born in Iowa in 1874 and came to Joplin 30 years ago.

She was the widow of H. D. Haley, who died in 1930 (sic) [1931].

Surviving are a son, Fred L. Haley of Port Arthur, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. J. V. Harrison, 2107 Murphy avenue; a brother, Earl Shellenbarger, 205 Maiden Lane; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Williamson of Fort Smith and Mrs. Joe Luppens of Kansas City, and 11 grandchildren.

The body was received by the Hurlbut Undertaking Company.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at Hurlbut chapel for Mrs. Norah Haley, 69 years old, who died yesterday morning at St. John's hospital.

The Rev. Thurman Kelley, pastor of the Forest Park Baptist church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the chapel until the funeral hour.

Henry D. Haley, Jr., 30 years old, whose wife was buried at Aurora Monday, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haley, 511 Moffet avenue, at 1:15 o'clock yesterday morning.

Besides the parents, two small children: a brother, Fred Haley, and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Harrison, survive.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

There is an error as far as the parentage of Henry Haley - see memorial above. His parents are John and Solona/Leona (Wilkinson)Haley. Her place of burial is unknown. He is buried in Cherokee County. I don't know where this information that is incorrect came from, so I don't know rather it is better to have it corrected, or to let sleeping dogs lie.
