Lawrence M. McCarville, 84, of 441 S. Wayne, died at Piqua Memoriaql Hospital at 2:50 a.m. today. He had been a patient in the hospital since July, 12 and in failing health for two yeras.
McCarville was born in Mineral Point, Wisc. March 3, 1884, son of Michael L. and Mary McCarville.
He lived in Piqua most of his life and was married to Hilda Koenitzer, Nov. 29, 1913 in St. Boniface Catholic Church
He was a member of St. Boniface Church and of the Holy Name Society. A World War I Army veteran. He served in France.
He was formally a salesman for Reserve Life insurance.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Eugene Franciis of Piqua, and a son, Len..(not legible)......Eagles nest, Wisc., three grandsons, Larry, John and (not legible).......................

He was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, a son, and a daughter
Requiem High Mass will be intoned at 10:ooa.m. Wednesday, in St. Boniface Church by the Rev. Fr. Charles Rohrkemper. Burial will be in forest Hill Cemetery. Firends may call at the Melcher Funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday.
Men of St.Boniface will meet at the funeral home at 7:30 Tuesday fro Rosary.
