Eli's 1st name may be William, as some others have suggested. According to 1880 to 1900 census show his wife as Hulda A, who is Hulda Angeline Brewer. Hulda is my 3 g's Aunt. Two of his children show on the census as Washington and mary A, and that their mother was from Tennessee. The other children of Eli showing from census show as their mother is from Illinois, which Hulda Angeline was apparently born there. These other children show as Elizabeth, Norah H, John W, Henry Ely and Lucy J.

I would love to obtain more information about this family, if anyone know, and make acquaintance of any family. Would also like to know the plot number and cemetery contact information person for this cemetery. On the www.rootsweb.com cemetery transcription, Eli, Engline and Mary A are showing as being buried in Williams North Cemetery near the Missouri/Arkansa border near Hwy 221.

I have been told that Eli's wife was Rhoda Jane Patton. If so, this would be his first wife, and I'm assuming the mother of Washington and Mary A. However, I've not found any record of a Rhoda Jane Patton Freeman in census and cemetery transcriptions. Would love information, if anybody knows??
