Anthony Dwight Haines, 61, of Atlantic City, was born August 20, 1963, to Bertice M. and Leroy Haines, Sr. in Atlantic City. He departed this life April 13, 2015, in AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center - City Campus.
Anthony, who was affectionately known as "Tony", was much loved and will be missed by all.
Tony was employed by the Borgata Casino Hotel as a stage technician. He had been previously employed by the Sands and Caesars Casinos. He is a 1971 graduate of Atlantic City High School and he later received a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University.
Left to cherish his memory are: son, Danny Gilliam; brothers, Gerald Brown, Leroy Haines, Jr., and John D. Haines; sisters, Yvonne Copes, Beatrice J. Haines and Nancy A. Greene; nieces and nephews, Cherrell Brown, Angela Copes, Frank Gilliam, Antuan Spivey, John Spivey, Joe J. Greene and Lamar Greene; great nieces and nephews, Nadirah Copes, Ashanti Sanders, Amirah Taylo, Zorana Brown, Jamal Woodall, Daquan Woodall, Sonnhoj and Jayshon Spivey and a host of other family and friends.
