Baldwyn- William "PeeWee" Abbott 82, passed away at the NMMC on Monday, July 20, 2015. He was a retired mechanic, small engine repair and auto body repairman. He enjoyed fishing, working on lawn mowers and cars and gardening. He was a Baptist.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 P.M. at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Lee Ethridge officiaiting. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Braden Abbott of Baldwyn; children, Brenda Cox (Randy) of Newport News, Va, Tina Parker (Bobby) of Saltillo, Tammy McDonald (Billy) of Baldwyn, Donnie Abbott of Baldwyn,Rosa Malone (Jerry) of New Albany, William Abbott Jr. of Guntown, Bobby Abbott (Casey) of Baldwyn, William Earl Abbott (Melissa) of New Albany, Brenda Gale Abbott of Arkansas and Janice Abbott of Indiana; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Lee Nichols of Sherman, Lula Mae Hardy of Baldwyn, Agnes Hill of New Albany, Anna Lee Cagle of Blue Springs and Helen Tubman of New Albany.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lola Davis Abbott; two sons, Randy William Abbott and Randy Abbott; brothers, Dewey, L.C. and Bo Abbott and a granddaugther, Sara Wilemon.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 2:00 - 9:00 P.M.
