C.P. Fulton was a prominent citizen of Chehalis, Washington. He was an agent of the Northern Pacific Depot (now the Lewis Country Museum) from 1911 until his death. Fulton was also chairman of the Chehalis Savings and Loan Association, president of the school board and active in the Kiwanis and Knights of Pythias. He was married to Clara Hobson in Chapin, Illinois in October 1887 and fathered four sons: Robert Leland Fulton, Charles Elmer Fulton, Frank Merwyn Fulton and Charlton Paschal Fulton. He aslo had a fifth child who died in infancy. His or her name is unknown. He was the son of railroad engineer William Henry Fulton.
