Jannie Marine Rester Bobinger Powe, 61, of Kiln, MS passed away March 25, 2006 in her home. She was born August 5, 1944 in the Standard Community and was a lifelong resident of Kiln, MS. She was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church. Jannie enjoyed playing bingo and raising rabbits. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burdic & Emma Line Perkins Rester; 4 sisters, Vernelee R. Cuevas, Treselee R. Cuevas, Lunnie Mae R. Cuevas & Lola Luvenia R. Melton; 3 brothers, Ernest R. Rester, Willard Rester, & Carl Richard Rester; her grandparents, F. Wilson & Martha F. Smith Rester & Ruben & Elizabeth "Lizzie Woodward" Perkins.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 from 11:00 am until at Wolf Creek Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will follow in Wolf Creek Cemetery.

Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
